Building Progress Update

The church is well on its way to completion. The parking lot has now been paved and the interior has been painted and the ceilings are almost complete. Come by Fitness Depot for our morning service and sign up to read the Bible so we can finish reading it before its time to move in in the next few months. Do not forget to keep the church and the building fund in your prayers as we trust God to meet our needs as a church. Some recent pictures of the churches progress are shown below the break.

Building Progress

The church building is well on its way towards completion. Below are some pictures of the current building process.

The first is of the front entrance complete with steeple, windows and brick. The second is of the side elevation with windows, brick, roof, and siding in place. The third is the sanctuary area looking towards the front foyer with the drywall and paint on the walls. In the center of the room are the interiors doors that have yet to be placed.

Building a Church that Honors God's Word

First Independent Methodist Church of Madison is a church that honors and

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

cherishes God's Word. Before we dedicate our new facilities, we will read aloud the whole Bible. God's word will fill the sanctuary and our hearts as we read aloud from God's word. Members will begin reading in the morning and evening hours before and after each day's construction. Completion is expected in the fall with the dedication services to follow shortly after. Congregation Gathers for Groundbreaking

The congregation of First Independent Methodist Church of Madison gathered for a ground breaking celebration on October 18 2009.

Construction will be starting soon with completion expected within 12 to 18 months. Construction will include a 150 seat Sanctuary, a fellowship hall with movable partitions to divide classrooms, a nursery, a warming kitchen, 2 offices, restrooms and foyers. In addition to the building will be paved parking lot with a covered drive. The construction site is located just north of Madison on Highway 51.

First Independent Methodist Church of Madison to Begin Construction Soon

First Independent Methodist Church of Madison congregation met July 26 to approve the beginning of Construction of its new worship center on Highway 51 North located just South of Twin Cedars Subdivision.
